Jacob Douglas Williams

JACOB DOUGLAS WILLIAMS, 16, passed away Tuesday morning, April 15, 2025. He was a native and lifelong resident of Aiken County.

Jacob was a son of Alicia Williams Miller and Kenneth Buckmon, Jr.. He was a junior at Wagener-Salley High School and was a member of Millbrook Baptist Church. Jacob loved the beach and looked forward to his annual trips to Myrtle Beach with his paternal family. He loved sports, playing video games and hanging out with his family and friends. He proudly supported The University of Tennessee Football. He had a smile that would light up the room and had a light-hearted humor that brought joy to everyone around.

Surviving is his mother, Alicia Miller (James) of Olar, SC; father, Kenneth Buckmon, Jr. of Augusta, GA; stepfather, Kevin Williams of Salley, SC; siblings, Kaleb Williams, Haley Williams, Harley Williams, Preston Miller, Kayla Williams and Noelle Jeffery;  maternal grandparents, Kristina “Kristi” Paradise (Kevin) of Manson, IA and Charles Douglas Williams of Clinton, TN; paternal grandfather, Kenneth Buckmon, Sr. of Augusta, GA; maternal great-grandparents, Bonnie and Joseph Boozer, Sr. of Aiken; paternal great-grandfather, Robert Flint (Joyce) of Greenville, SC; ; uncles, Clifford Williams of Charlotte, NC and Matthew Williams of Manson, IA; aunts, Lakesha Shana Buckmon and Deidre Patrice Price, both of Augusta, GA; great-aunts, Sharon E. Williams of Clinton, TN, Angel Williams (Antonio) of Augusta, GA, Denise Dukes (Jimmy) of Acworth, GA and Tonya Banner of Barnwell, SC; great-uncles, Joseph A. Boozer, Jr. of Aiken, SC, Bernard Burroughs (Lora) of Barnwell, SC and Corey Yeadon of Cross, SC. Jacob was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Roberta Bellinger and great-grandmother, Vivian Workman; great-grandparents, Billy Clifford and Mary Sue Williams and great-uncle, Grant H. Williams.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday afternoon, April 23rd at 3 o’clock at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home with The Rev. Bill Howard III officiating. Interment will be in Clinton, Tennessee.
