Jana King Broome

Aiken – Mrs. Jana King Broome, 58, passed away Friday, August 12, 2022. Jana was born in Jackson, MS, a daughter of the late Oscar S. and Sarah Juanita Hamby King. She had lived in Aiken for the last four and a half years and was a member of Mercy Church. Jana was a homemaker and the “heart” of her home. She had the gift of hospitality and everyone always felt loved and welcomed by her. She loved Jesus with a passion and served Him with her whole heart. Jana is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Robert Bryan Broome; daughter, Hannah Grace Broome, Aiken; sisters, Judy (James) White, New Ellenton, and Rhonda (Kenneth) Holland, Aiken; and several dearly loved nieces and nephews, extended family and countless friends. A visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM, with the funeral service beginning at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at Mercy Church with Rev. Kenneth Murphy, Rev. Rhonda Holland and Rev. Tod Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Cemetery.
