JANET GREGORY HITT, 67, beloved wife of Victor C. Hitt, passed away unexpectedly Friday evening, July 21, 2023 in Aiken Regional Medical Centers.
A native and lifelong resident of Aiken, Janet was a daughter of the late J. Odell and Louise Chapman Gregory. She retired from Regent Security.
Surviving, in addition to her husband Vic, are her brother, Robert Gregory (Billy Jo); her sister, Linda Rutland (Richard), all of Aiken and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Ann G. Lepp.
A private graveside service will be held in Talatha Baptist Church Cemetery.
