Janet Grentzinger Passage

AIKEN, SC – JANET GRENTZINGER PASSAGE, 88, died Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at her home in Kalmia Landing. A native of New York State, Janet was born in Batavia, NY, March 10, 1929, a daughter of the late George and Viola Steffen Grentzinger. She was a graduate of Batavia High School and was formerly employed by Marine Medland Bank, now HSBC.  She was corporate secretary of her husband’s auction business, Page Auctions, Inc.  Janet was a member of St. Mary’s R.C. Church in Batavia.  She moved to Aiken in 1985 and was a member of St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church in Aiken.  She was a charter member of the Perpetual Adoration Society. She is survived by an abundance of cousins, nieces and nephews. Her husband, Don L. Passage, Jr., preceded her in death in 2009. Inurnment will be in the columbarium in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Batavia, NY.
