JASON BLANE TINDALL, 41, beloved husband of Barbara Tindall, passed away Monday, November 13, 2023 at home, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Augusta, GA, Jason was a son of Blane J. Tindall and Dorothea Shumpert Tindal. He was a lifelong resident of Aiken and a graduate of Aiken High School, Class of 2000. He worked for Aiken Pest Control as a pest technician for 15 years. Jason loved his family and was the glue that held them together. He had a contagious smile that would light up any room. He loved family cookouts and “burnt hamburgers”. Jason was an avid fisherman, especially bass fishing. He loved deer hunting and old hot rod trucks. He was a huge Patriots and Tom Brady fan, he also loved NASCAR.
Surviving is his wife of almost 21 years, Barbara; his two children, Zoey Grace and Chandler Blane; his father, Blane Tindall (Diane), Aiken; his mother, Dot Tindal (Baron), Pelion; paternal grandmother, Jelina Tindall, Aiken; brother, Travis Tindal (Amber Calvert), Pelion; 3 step-siblings; a number of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and his fur babies, Brady, Brewski, Reese and Bentley. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Jule Tindall and his maternal grandparents, Judy and Robert Shumpert.
The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon, November 18th beginning at 1 o’clock at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2 o’clock in the funeral home chapel with The Rev. Dr. Brad Willis officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Outdoor Dream Foundation (www.outdoordream.org) .

In honor of Jason, the family requests to those attending the visitation and service to please wear red, blue or camo casual clothes.
