Jeffery Wayne Johnson

AIKEN, SC – JEFFERY WAYNE JOHNSON. 63, beloved husband of Sherrie Floyd Johnson, passed away Monday, November 1, 2021 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.

     Born in Port Lavaca, TX, Jeffery was a son of the late Frank Allen and Peggie Ann Tyler Johnson.  He lived most of his life in Aiken and was a welder.  He retired from BAE.  Jeffery was an avid golfer.  He loved Clemson football and NASCAR.

     Surviving, in addition to his wife Sherrie, are his children, Matthew Tyler Johnson (Dawn), Jennifer Marie Johnson, Sherrie Elizabeth Edington, all of Aiken; his five granddaughters that he adored, Alexis Leigh Barton, Ava Marie Johnson, Aubrey Lynn Edington, Maddison Taylor Johnson and Laynee Noelle Johnson; his siblings, Thomas Allen Johnson (Darlene), Aiken, Debra Powell (Doug), Augusta, GA, Frank Tyler Johnson, Aiken and a number of nieces and nephews.

     A Celebration of Jeffery’s Life will be Friday evening, November 5^th at 6:30 PM at the VFW Post 5877, 116 Midway Circle, Aiken, SC.

     In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to VFW Post 5877.
