Aiken – John Allen Richardson, 53, passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2022.
John was a lifelong resident of Aiken and was a Facility Technician for AT&T for 33 years. He was a member of Redds Branch Baptist Church. He loved his family, loved hunting and fishing, loved his job, and would do anything for anyone.
John is survived by his beloved wife, Diana Carver Richardson; his mother, Rinda Marie Anderson Richardson, Aiken; his daughter, Kayla Marie (David) Richardson, Aiken; his sons, Michael Lewis Richardson, Aiken, John Allen (Ashley) Richardson, Jr., Aiken; stepchildren, Mitchell (Kim) Kirkbride) Aiken, Chris (Jenny) Kirkbride, N. Augusta, Ashley (Robert) Hall, Edgefield; grandchildren, Michael, Jr., Madilynn, Makenzie, Macon, Gwen, Adon, Gauge, Waylon, Lacey, Landen, Jackson, Kyden, and Aria; sister, Jeri (Mike) Hooper, N. Augusta; brothers, Vincent (Jan) Richardson, Four Oaks,NCc, Thomas Richardson, Aiken; close friends, Robert Cooper and Toney Willis.
He was preceded in death by his father, Vincent O’Neal Richardson, and close friend, Jack Busbee.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, February 27, 2022, in the Shellhouse-Rivers Funeral Home chapel with the Reverend Dr. Brad Willis officiating. Interment will follow in the Redds Branch Baptist Church Cemetery.
