NEW ELLENTON, SC - Mrs. Judith Ann "Judy" White, 71, beloved wife of James L. "Jimmy" White, Sr., passed away Thursday, June 13, 2024.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 4:00 PM on Sunday, June 23, 2024 at Mercy Church. The family will receive friends following the service.
Born in Jackson, MS, Judy was the daughter of the late Oscar Seville and Sarah Juanita “Nita” Hamby King. She grew up in Pearl, MS with her two younger sisters who were also her very best friends. She married her high school sweetheart Jimmy at 19 and followed him around the country as she faithfully served as a Navy wife. Judy would often describe the years that followed as a merry-go-round adventure - full of ups and downs, but with her Jimmy and her Jesus holding her hand, it was a great ride! She was a member of Mercy Church and a dedicated Christian who loved and lived for Jesus her entire life.
In addition to her husband, Judy is survived by her three children, James (Amy) White, Jr., Aiken, Jason White, Harriman, TN, Jennifer (Andrew) Martin, Aiken; granddaughter, Joanna Martin; sister Rhonda (Kenny) Holland of Aiken, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Jana Broome.
