Aiken – Mrs. Karri Rae Snyder Hammond, 69, passed away Saturday, June 11, 2022.
Karri was born in Kalamazoo, MI, daughter of the late Donald and N. Leone Sladek Snyder. She retired from the State of Michigan where she worked as an executive secretary.
Karri is survived by her loving husband, Mark Steven Hammond; son, Richard Dale (Katie) Hammond, Aiken; grandchildren, Kalop Joyner, Leah Hammond, and Abigail Hammond; sisters, Terri (Jessie, Jr.) Carter, Pelzer, SC, Jerri Snyder, Pelzer; a brother, Don (Nancy) Snyder, Plainwall, MI; and daughter in law, Rikki Hammond.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Darold and Jarrod Hammond, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Celebration of Life for Karri will be held at 5:00 PM Friday, June 17, 2022 in the Shellhouse Funeral Home chapel. The family will receive friends following the celebration.
