Kevin Charles Fischer

KEVIN CHARLES FISCHER, 70, beloved husband of Marcia E. Fischer, passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.

A native of Grand Rapids, MI, Kevin was a son of the late Carl F. and Agnes May Wright Fischer.  He proudly served his country in the United States Navy, retiring from the Navy Reserves as Chief Petty Officer.  Kevin was a control systems engineer and worked with Bechtel at the Savannah River Site for 27 years.  He was active in his community, volunteering with Habitat for Humanity and United Way of Aiken County.

Survivors, in addition to his wife Marcia, include his son, Keith Fischer, Aiken; step-sons, Sean Travis of VA, David Travis of AL; four grandchildren, Cassandra Travis, Alexander Travis, Lena Travis, Eowyn Travis; his brother, Jim Fischer of MI; his sister, Carla Wilson (Tim) of MI.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, September 12th in Arlington National Cemetery.
