AIKEN, SC – KURT ARTHUR MAI, 75, beloved husband of Christine M. Willever Mai, died Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at Anchor Health and Rehab.
A native of Trenton, NJ, Kurt was a son of Marion Ringer Mai and the late Arthur Mai. He was a Vietnam Veteran, serving in the U. S. Air Force. Kurt was a Landscape Architect, retiring from the City of Grand Rapids, MI. He moved to Aiken five years ago.
Survivors, in addition to his wife Christine, include his mother, Marion of Chapel Hill, NC; two daughters, Lynn D. Mai, Grand Rapids, MI, Alicia J. Bodenstein (Greg), Minot AFB, North Dakota; three grandchildren, Danielle M. Planty, Gabrielle E. Bodenstein, Braden C. Bodenstein; three great-grandchildren, Zayden D. Mai, Vaida M. Roberts, Jaxyn S. Mai; three sisters, Marie A. Gile, Carol Indjer, Claire J. Walker.
Services will be private.
