Aiken – Mrs. Lisbeth Osgood Mann, 79, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 6, 2022. Lisbeth was born in Sylvania, OH, daughter of the late Frederick P. and Carolyn Norton Osgood. She was a graduate of Indiana University, and as a resident of Aiken, she managed pension plans for Westinghouse at the Savannah River Site. She also worked in retailing for 15 years. Lisbeth was a member of St. Thaddeus Episcopal Church where she served as a Eucharistic Minister and usher for 22 years. She volunteered at Christ Central, the Aiken County Animal Shelter, the SPCA Thrift Store, and as a dog walker. She worked with Annie, a golden retriever, as part of a therapy team for nine and a half years. She is survived by her beloved husband, Edwin Murray Mann, III; sister, Penny O. Schlatter; brother, Frederick N (Marla) Osgood; seven nieces and nephews; 12 great nieces and nephews; and her beloved dogs, Snowflake and Hodges, rescued from the Aiken Friends of The Animal Shelter (FOTAS). She was preceded in death by a sister, Karen O. (Earl) Strimple. A Celebration of Lisbeth’s Life will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, November 13, 2022, at St. Thaddeus Episcopal Church with Reverend Dr. Frank Sawyer officiating. Interment will be held in the church cemetery, followed by a reception in the Stevenson-McClelland Building.
