**In Loving Memory of Lloyd Alan Shelhorse**

*August 23, 1963– April 9, 2025*

It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lloyd Alan Shelhorse AKA “Peewee” beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend to many who passed away peacefully at the age of 61 on April 9, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family.

Lloyd was born on August 23, 1963, in Danville, Virginia, to the late Cecil Martin Lloyd Shelhorse and Bettye Floyd Harbuck. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, where he served with honor.

Lloyd’s greatest joy was his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy, of 43 years; their children, Cassandra Shelhorse, Cory Shelhorse, and Sierra Shelhorse; and his cherished grandchildren, Logan, Haven, and Aiden(deceased), He also leaves behind his siblings, Floyd (Lorena) Shelhorse, Crystal (Randy) Bull, James (Barbara) LaMotte, Bettye (Tim) Steedly, as well as his partner Terri Snyder, uncle, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss him dearly.

Lloyd was known for his kindness, his sense of humor, and his unwavering support of those he loved. He had a deep love for motorcycles, playing pool, and playing his favorite games, as well as creating beautiful memories with his family that will forever be cherished.

Lloyd’s legacy of love, strength, and laughter will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be greatly missed.
