Margaret Norton English

Aiken – Mrs. Margaret Norton English, 84, passed away Monday, May 4, 2020. Margaret was born August 31, 1935 to the late Clifford F. Norton and Olene Cooper Norton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde W. “CW” English, and two sons, William John Wren and Franklin Jay Wren. She is survived by her son, Paul D. Wren, Aiken, SC; and sister, Mary N. Pederson, Stapleton, GA. She was a member of Lakeview Assembly of God in Augusta, GA but also attended Unity Holiness Church in Aiken. She worked at Homestead Draperies for seven years. She worked at Gracewood State Hospital for Handicapped for several years, before working at Louisville Training Center for the handicapped. Before retiring she worked with Elder Care in Augusta. The family will receive friends from 4-6 PM Thursday evening at SHELLHOUSE FUNERAL HOME INC., 924 HAYNE AVE., AIKEN, SC. Social distancing is recommended for those who attend. A private graveside service will be held Friday, May 8, 2020 in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens, Thomson, GA.
