AIKEN, SC - MARILYN ANN WILHELM, 75, widow of Christian Wilhelm, passed away Thursday, November 11, 2021, following a sudden illness.
A native of Round Lake, IL, Marilyn was a daughter of the late Irwin and Evelyn Krause Molidor. She lived in Aiken since 2000 and retired from the bakery at Food Lion. The last seven years, she took care of “the lights of her life” Evelyn and Brodie. She attended St. John’s United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Denise Krok (Jeffrey), Aiken; two sons, Kristopher Dahlman (Michelle), Iowa, Richard Wilhelm (Rosie), Illinois; two grandsons, Timothy Krok (Rebecca), Charleston, SC, Alec Krok, Aiken; three sisters, Kathy West, Sally Edwards (Ralph) and Mary Collette Beese (Charles), all of Illinois and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Saturday afternoon, November 20th at 3 o’clock in the Faith Center of St. John’s United Methodist Church with The Rev. Dr. W. Timothy McClendon officiating. The family will receive friends at the church following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the American Heart Association (heart.org).
