Mary Hall Ogden

New Ellenton, SC – Mrs. Mary Hall Ogden, 79, passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2018. Born in Heflin, Alabama, Mrs. Ogden was the daughter of the late Hoyt and Exie Finnell Hall. Mary was a 1956 graduate of Aiken High School. She spent most of her life as a New Ellenton resident and worked for E.I Dupont for several years as a lab tech. Mrs. Ogden enjoyed reading gardening, cooking and sewing but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her 5 grandchildren. She is survived by her three daughters, Lydia M. Harrison, Bainbridge Island, WA, Malissa Beckner (Jeff), Aiken, Elizabeth Kyle-Cebula (Eric), Charlotte, NC, five grandchildren; Chandler Harrison, Kyle Beckner, Sydney Beckner, Alexandra Cebula, Jacqueline Cebula, two sisters; Yvonne Willamon, Aiken, Nancy Hendrix (Gene), Aiken and a brother, Noel Hall (Mary) of Florence, Alabama. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Ogden was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Ogden, Sr., and two brothers, Garland and Larry Hall. The family will receive friends Sunday, April 29th from 2:00-4:00 PM at Shellhouse Funeral Home. Funeral services will be private and interment will follow in Southlawn Cemetery. Mary’s daughters would also like to express their deepest gratitude to her home healthcare staff who took such great care of their mother.
