Mena Evelyn Moore

AIKEN - Mena Evelyn Lupei Moore, 95 years old, entered into rest Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. Born September 24, 1922 in Plano, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Stephen Miculae Lupei and Hermena Roska Lupei. She was a homemaker devoted to raising her family in Lombard, Illinois and after making Aiken her home, served on the board of Kalmia Landing and became a member of the First Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Moore is survived by her daughter Dana Lynn Furgerson, Eugene, OR; three sons: Clark Daniel Moore III MD (Paula) Aiken, SC; Robert Charles Moore (Vicki) Mogollon, NM; and Steven Douglas Moore PhD (Mary) Redlands, CA; ten grandchildren: Keith James Moses (Alissa), Jennifer Grace Moore, David Clark Moore (Kimberly), Morgan Leigh Moore, Brennon Patrick Moore, Juston Moore, Jenica Moore Laney (Troy), Jessica Moore Sprague (Ethan), Keegan Douglas Moore, and Claire Eirwen Moore; and three great grandchildren: Dahlia Margaret Moses, Hazel Johanna Moses, and Lillian Grace Moore. She is preceded in death by her husband Clark Daniel Moore, Jr, her son, Patrick James Moore MD, and her eight siblings. A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 PM Saturday, February 10, 2018 in the Chapel at Rose Hill, 221 Greenville St., NW, Aiken with reception and celebration of life immediately following at the Stables Restaurant.
