Michael "Mike" Harold Eubanks

Michael “Mike” Harold Eubanks, 63, of Aiken, passed away July 29, 2023 after a lengthy illness.

He was predeceased by his father, Albert John Eubanks, and his mother, Barbara G. Stevens. Mike is survived by his brother, John Allen Eubanks (Pam Skiles) of Aiken, and Thomas Norin (Karen) of Wilmington, NC.  He leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

Mike was born October 22, 1959 in Gainesville, GA but lived in Aiken most of his life. After graduating from Aiken High School in 1977 he worked for several years as a paramedic with Aiken County Emergency Medical Services. Afterwards he attended Full Sail college in Orlando, FL, and then worked as a studio recording engineer in Nashville, TN.  He returned to Aiken in 2006 to serve as a caregiver for his mother until her death in 2008.

Mike was very talented on the guitar and enjoyed teaching guitar lessons to dozens of students.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday August 2, 2023, at Shellhouse Funeral Home on Hayne Ave. at 2:00pm with the Reverend Bill Howard, III officiating. Visitation will begin at 1:00.  

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Aiken Animal Shelter on Wire Road or to ACTS in Aiken.
