Nancy Ann Carrier

AIKEN, SC – NANCY ANN CARRIER, 86, widow of John Maxwell Carrier, Jr., passed away Friday, June 10, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

     Born in Niagara Falls, NY, Nancy was a daughter of the late Howard and Angeline Donatelli Lehmann.  She grew up in Lewiston, NY, graduated from Niagara County Community College with a degree in nursing.  Nancy raised her family in North Tonawanda, NY while working as a RN in Niagara Falls Memorial Hospital.  She and John moved to Deland, FL in 1980 where she worked at Orlando Regional Medical Center.  She loved bowling, traveling with her husband and spending time with her family.  In her later years she became an avid birdwatcher.

     Survivors include her daughter, Renee Austin (Milledge III), Aiken; her son, Bruce Carrier (Marcia), Semmes, AL; five grandchildren, Milledge Austin IV (Laura), Nancy Austin, Christopher Carrier (Amber), Rebecca West (Michael), Jonathan Carrier (Jessica); eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; a brother, Don Lehmann (Cathy), Flower Mound, TX.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Howard Lehman.

     No local services are planned.  Entombment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens, Mobile, AL where she will join her husband in everlasting love.
