Nancy Kleynen

Nancy Joan Ross Kleynen, 69, beloved wife of Louis “Bud” Kleynen, died Thursday, May 4, 2017 at her residence. A native of Andover, MA, Nancy was a daughter of the late William L. “Billy” and Joan Campbell Ross. She worked as a data entry clerk for the Internal Revenue Service. Family and fun were important to Nancy. She loved entertaining, especially Easter and Fourth of July celebrations or any other occasion to get together with family and friends. Nancy loved doting on her grandchildren. She enjoyed watching their sporting events, except for Jake’s hockey games (too cold). She wouldn’t miss Molly’s dance recitals and was always available to play board games. Nancy was a pretty good golfer and played regularly with Bud and their friends. She loved crafts and was accomplished at many. Sewing, embroidery and quilting were some of her favorites. She also liked woodworking and made impressive looking furniture that graces the homes of family and friends. In her final days, Nancy said she would miss her family and the many friends she made and loved, but she was also looking forward to reuniting with her departed loved ones too. Survivors include her husband Bud; daughter, Jodie McDonough and husband Sean, Tewksbury, MA; grandchildren, Jake and Molly McDonough; sister, Martha Kolifrath and husband Dennis, Londonderry, NH; nieces and nephews. Nancy’s family will receive friends Monday evening, May 8th from 6 until 8 o’clock at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home.
