Nancy Smith

Nancy Jo Smith, 83, of Aiken, South Carolina, reunited with her beloved husband Alfred M. Smith, on Thursday, February 20, 2025.

A native of Louisville, IL, Nancy was a daughter of the late Carl and Merle Steely Farrell. Nancy has called Aiken her home for the last 45 years. Involved in the Community with Tri-Develop Center, member of Millbrook Baptist Church and Manager at Sears of Aiken before retiring in 2006. She embraced her role of Grandma and Great Grandma, actively involved in all her grandchildren’s lives, from the classical arts to cheering from the sidelines of many sports genres.

Survivors include her Three Children – Vincent (Cindy) Smith of Aiken, Belinda Smith of Aiken, Tonya (Jeff) Yetter of Cincinnati and Seven Grandchildren – Chad (Meredith) Smith of Aiken, Bryan (Taylor) Smith of Aiken, Bobby (Savannah) Smith of North Augusta, Elizabeth (Michael) Fox of Orlando, Bretlyn Yetter, Victoria Yetter and Alexandria Yetter of Cincinnati. And 5 Great Grandchildren – Skyla, Layla, Max, Hudson and Holly of Aiken.

A private funeral service for the family will be held at a later date.
