AIKEN, SC - Mr. Neal L. Riddle, 88, beloved husband of Debbie B. Riddle, passed away Thursday, February 13, 2025.

Born in West Point, TN, Neal was the son of the late Paul and Georgia Riddle. He left Tennessee at 17 years old to work at The Savannah River Plant in Aiken. Neal’s career at the Savannah River Site spanned 42 years, most of which were spent as a CAD design manager. Alongside his career at SRS, he was also a building contractor, building many homes in Aiken and the surrounding counties. Neal was an avid golfer for more than 60 yrs, 30 of those years were spent golfing with his best buddies: Bill Dullworth, Jerry Bishop and John Horvath. Neal loved a good game of poker with his family and he cherished being at his home on Lake Murray fishing, boating, and spending time with family and friends. 

He is survived by his wife Debbie; Daughter, Heather (Joel) Pack, Aiken; granddaughter, Chloe Pack; siblings, Minnie Paul Kelly, West Point, TN, Anne Wilson, Goodlettsville, TN, Rae Price, Aiken and Tony (Gloria) Riddle of Gallatin, TN. In addition to his parents, Neal was preceded in death by siblings, Bille Jean Woodard, Mary Whittle, Terry Riddle and Jim Riddle.

The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:30 PM on Monday, February, 17 at the Millbrook Baptist Church Chapel. The funeral will follow at 1:30 with the Rev. Dr. Albert Allen officiating. Private interment will be held in Southlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joel Pack, Jason Waters, John Fortanbary, Jackson Fortanbary, Jonathan Berry and Kole Helvie.

We would like to thank Neal’s two amazing sister-in-laws Tonya McCormick and Donna Berry for all their unconditional love and unending support.

We would also like to thank the 3rd Floor Neuro ICU team at MCG Wellstar for all their compassionate care.

In lieu of Flowers, donations may be made in Neal’s honor to The Dementia Society of America.
