Olga Nilda Torres Jordan passed in her sleep from a life of 90-years to a heavenly reward on October 25, 2023. Olga was born in 1933 to José Leocadio Torres García and Carmen Torres Ortiz, in the village of Aguirre, Puerto Rico, and is one of five siblings. She is survived by her youngest brother Juan (Johnny) Torres, and by her three sons John Jordan, Joseph Jordan (Eleanor), and James Jordan (Barbara-Suzanne). Olga has six granddaughters, Clarissa Bliemeister (Scot), Ashley Herrera (Ryan), Ciara Jordan, Sara Danila (Justin), Laura White (Jacob), and Miranda Courtright (Tyler), and a legacy of twelve lovely young great-grandchildren (girls and boys) – a champion girl-boxer, gentle dancers, singers, artists, and determined boys.
Olga loved this life, all the music and dancing that comes with its Joy, and she enjoyed her extended Puerto Rican family. They loved her in return and when they were together the years apart just melted away; catching up with fresh stories and meeting the newest babies to adore. By her sons, she is lovingly remembered for her hugs as she reached down and we wrapped our arms around her legs for shelter and protection - and then later her encouraging hands as we each walked into our promising lives as responsible men, thankful to her for being our mother.
No local service is planned.
