Pamela B. Owens

North Augusta, SC - Pamela Gail Black Owens, 57, beloved wife of Mark Shannon Owens, died Sunday, January 27, 2019.

     Born on May 28, 1961 in Gastonia, North Carolina, Pamela was a daughter of Katherine “Kitty” Queen Black and the late Charles Lee Black.  She grew up in Aiken and was a graduate of Charleston Southern University, formerly the Baptist College of Charleston.  She was the financial advisor for McLeod & Murdock Attorney’s at Law in Evans, GA.  Pamela was a member of Millbrook Baptist Church

     Survivors, in addition to her husband Mark, include her mother, Kitty Black, Aiken, her sister Beverly Katherine Clamp (Craig), Columbia, SC; an adopted spiritual sister Susanna Satchell (Bill), Summerville, SC; a special college roommate and friend through the years Melissa Heeg (Tim), York, SC; father and mother-in-law LaRue and Betty Godbee, Bath, SC; sister-in-law Tammy Turner, Montmorenci, SC; special niece Michelle Owens, North Augusta, SC; aunts and uncles, cousins, several nieces and nephews and many friends - too many to mention.  And of course, her dog Roxie.  In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, The Rev. Walker and Audra Black and Vinson and Louella Queen.

     The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 30^th beginning at 1 o’clock at Levels Baptist Church.  The funeral service will follow at 2 o’clock with The Rev. Clint Bartlett officiating.
