Patricia T. Milheim, born on November 9, 1928, in Philadelphia, PA, passed away peacefully at home in Aiken on April 2, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Pat was fiercely independent and a proud feminist who embraced life with a lively spirit. She was known for her talents as a gardener and an orchidist, dedicating herself to nurturing the beauty of nature almost until her final days. Her extensive reading and handy skills reflected her curious mind and resourceful nature.
Pat was a devoted nurse, a caring wife, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and a cherished friend. She shared her wicked sense of humor with everyone around her, brightening the lives of those fortunate enough to know her.
She is survived by her two daughters, Janice Milheim and Lesley Milheim, her granddaughter, Dr. Jamie Clanin, her grandson, Bram Chestek, and her great-grandson, Turner Clanin, and great granddaughter Cassandra.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents, James and Elizabeth Townsend and her husband, Fred Milheim.
Services will be held privately.
