PATRICIA LYNNE “TRICIA” HOLLEY, 44, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2023, with her loving family by her side.
A lifelong resident of Aiken, Tricia is the daughter of Thomas Delleney Holley Sr. and Patricia Whitehurst Holley. Having been immersed in and raised in her parent’s family-owned pharmacy, she quickly developed a passion for serving others. After graduating from South Aiken High School, she pursued her career and proudly earned her license as a CPhT- Certified Pharmacy Technician. For over 30 years she dedicated herself to the customers of Medical Center Pharmacy, followed by Hawthorne Drug. Tricia’s cheerful spirit and helpful demeanor attracted so much of the Aiken community and made them feel cared for. Her greatest desire was to love- her family, her friends, her customers, and her acquaintances. Tricia was a member of Aiken’s First Baptist Church and, without any doubt, is now serving eternity with our Heavenly Father. So many will agree that her heart was made of gold and is a heart that will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her parents, Thomas Delleney “Tom” Holley Sr. And Patricia Whitehurst “Pat” Holley, of Aiken; siblings, Thomas Delleney “Tommy” (Tiffany) Holley Jr. and Elizabeth Holley (Brian) Anderson, of Aiken; nephews Thomas Delleney “Lane” Holley III, James Wilson “Will” Holley, Andrew Bradley “Drew” Holley, and Perry Glenn Anderson, of Aiken; niece Holley Ann Anderson, of Aiken; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Pallbearers include Mr. Lane Holley, Mr. John Mishoe, Mr. Brad Moseley, Dr. Bill Besson, Mr. Johnny McCullough, Mr. Lee Fulmer, Mr. Philip Turner, and Mr. Michael Zielinski.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, February 28th from 6 until 8 o’clock at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be Wednesday afternoon, March 1st at 3 o’clock at Aiken’s First Baptist Church with The Rev. John Carroll officiating. Interment will follow in Historic Bethany Cemetery.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Aiken Regional Medical Centers, the ICU nurses, Dr. Bill Besson, Dr. Miroslav Zotovich, Dr. Nicholas Sanito, and Dr. Gerald Gordon for the care they provided Tricia. Their compassion and efforts went above and beyond for her and for us.
