PETER BROOKS WEBSTER, 79, widower of Donna BaldwinWebster, died Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at his daughter’s residence. 

Born in Beverly MA, Pete was the son of the late Brooks and Betty Wilcox Webster. After living most of his life in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, he retired to Lexington, SC to be closer to his children. Pete worked in construction all his life for John D. Lawrence, and even after retirement he continued to help his son, daughter, and others with home improvement projects. Pete loved his toys. One of his friends recently wrote, “I will remember Pete’s passion for motorcycles, guns, boats, planes, and vehicles, basically anything that went fast and made noise.” 

Pete also never stopped smiling or talking about his family or the love of his life, Donna. He was very proud of his, children and grandsons, often teaching them life lessons whenever he spent time with them. As his son recently stated, “My father had a true sense of honesty, fairness, and justice.” 

Survivors include his daughter, Kim Webster Sinclair (Rhett), Aiken, sons, Scott Webster (Laura), Graniteville, Bowers Baldwin, Pennsylvania, five grandchildren, Nolan Sinclair, Brennan Webster, Stephen Webster, Joseph Webster, and Justin Baldwin, sister, Karen Webster Seibert, Naples, FL. 

The family would like to thank Dr. Weems R Pennington, MD, the staff at ARMC and Augusta University, Walton Rehabilitation, Crescent Hospice Aiken, Daybreak, his close companion Elaine Marchegiano, and all the friends and family who made Pete’s final days as comfortable as possible. A Celebration of Life will be held privately, at one of his favorite places, his lake house.
