AIKEN, SC – RICHARD ANTHONY EMPOLITI, JR., 47, died Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at his residence.
A native of Torrington, CT, Rick was a son of Cindy J. Poland and the late Richard A. Empoliti, Sr. He moved to Aiken 25 years ago from Florida and was the original owner of Custom Counter Tops.
Survivors include his mother, Cindy Poland, Helen, GA; step-mother, Alice Empoliti, Aiken; brothers and sisters, Mike Empoliti (Ashton), Aiken, Shelly Empoliti, Helen, GA, Norman Grant (Missy), Aiken, David Grant (Jen), Aiken, Heidi Chappell (Jason), Seneca, SC; girlfriend, Tricia Beckham, Oregon. In addition to his father, Rick was preceded in death by a sister, Tammy Empoliti.
A memorial service will be held Sunday afternoon, July 29th at 2 o’clock at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
