RODNEY HENRY SMITH, 78, beloved husband of Alice Cook Smith, passed away Sunday morning, July 28, 2024 at his residence.
A native of Edgefield. Rodney was a son of the late Henry Willie and Ida Mae Chavis Smith. He lived most of his life in Aiken and retired from Harvey Hubbell.
Surviving is his wife of 44 years, Alice; a godchild, Trey Sutherland, Lexington, SC; a brother, Bill Smith (Louisia), North, SC; two nieces, Stephanie Smith Maroney, Batesburg, SC and Angi Smith Harter (Robbie), Edgefield, SC; a nephew, William Smith (Brandy), Edgefield, SC. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin brother, Roy Willie Smith.
