WINDSOR, SC – ROSE MARIE YARBROUGH NORSWORTHY, 71, beloved wife of Warren D. “Dink” Norsworthy, passed away Thursday, January 7, 2021 at A. U. Medical Center, Augusta, GA.
A native and lifelong resident of Aiken County, Marie was a daughter of the late Owen Fredrick and Minnie Lou Vansant Herron. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Aiken Ward.
Surviving, in addition to her husband are three children, John M. Yarbrough (Tracy), Aiken, Kurt A. Yarbrough (Robin), Aiken, Sabrina T. Neville (Wes), Fredericksburg, VA; grandchildren, Brandi N. Billings, Cody T. W. Beard, Kurt Jacob Yarbrough (Kelsey); great-grandchildren, Kinley M. Billings, Lainey E. Billings, Phillip Minard; siblings, Janice Smathers, Warrenville, Mark Herron (Rhonda), Aiken, Brenda Padgett, Ward, Debbie Hubbs, North Augusta.
In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by her brother, Owen F. Herron, Jr. and two grandsons, Jordan Glenn Yarbrough and Jaret Thomas Yarbrough.
The family will receive friends Wednesday afternoon, January 13th from 1 until 2 o'clock at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The funeral service will follow at 2 o'clock at the church. Social distancing guidelines and masks will be required. Interment will be in Southlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Yarbrough, Bryson Herron, Allen Anderson, Jacob Yarbrough, Cody Beard, Ken Middlebrooks. Honorary Pallbearer will be Chad Allen.
