Sandra B. Friedrichsen

Sandra B. Friedrichsen age 83, beloved wife of the late Kurt A. Friedrichsen, passed away Monday, March 3, 2025. 

 She was born in Macon, GA to Edward and Carol Bankston Bailey and lived most of her life in Aiken County, SC. She retired from (Westinghouse) Savannah River Site and was a member of Millbrook Baptist Church and the Heyward Sunday School Class. Sandra loved spending time with her family and friends, as well as traveling to the lake or the seaside, and reading.

 She is survived by her daughter Terri West Sanders of Aiken; her son Jerry West of Graniteville; two stepsons Craig Friedrichsen (Michelle) of Denver, CO and Todd Friedrichsen (Elaina) of Santa Monica, CA; and three step-grandchildren Peyton Koch, Holden Koch, and Dylan Archer. She is also survived by her sister Linda Powder (Clayton) of Millbrook, AL; her sister-in-law Cynthia Bailey (John) of Canton, GA; and her sister-in-law Madeline Bailey (Robert) of Ft. Myers, FL. She was predeceased by her parents, husband, and brothers John Bailey and Robert Bailey.

A graveside service will be held Friday afternoon, March 7th at 2 o'clock in Sunset Memory Gardens with The Rev. Bill Howard III officiating.
