Sarah Louise Bailey

AIKEN, SC - Mrs. Sarah Louise Bailey, 87, passed away Sunday, February 18, 2024.

Sarah was preceded in death by her husband, William, and daughters, Linda Felder and infant daughter, Sarah Bailey.

She is survived by four children, Melanie Rhodes, William Bailey (Debbie), Deborah Rodriguez (Danny), and Merri Walton (David).  She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, Arthur Rhodes, Jason Bailey, Christopher Bailey, Timothy Bailey, Joshua Bailey, Aaron Bailey, Sarah Rodriguez, Jesse Rodriguez, William Whisnant, Adam Dunaway, Heather Kleckner, Erika Felder, Cody Walton, and her adopted grandson, Jonathan Pigford who assisted in Sarah’s care for many years as well as 12 great-grandchildren.

Sarah will be remembered for her love of poetry.  She authored many poems, some of which were published.  She worked for Richmond and Aiken County School System as a crossing guard.

A memorial service will be held on March 2, 2024 at First Assembly Church of God, 328 May Avenue, Lincolnton, Georgia at 2:00 pm.  The family will receive guests at 12:00 noon for a luncheon provided by First Assembly’s ministry.

The family would like to thank Pruitt Health Hospice for the kind and comforting service they provided for the short time she was in their care.
