AIKEN - Mr. Scott Howard Conner passed away unexpectedly in Aiken, South Carolina on January 10, 2018 at the age of 64. Scott is survived by his daughter, Courtney Leigh Conner, and brother, Jon Bradley Conner, in addition to his many loving family members and significant other. Scott is preceded in death by his father, Robert E. Conner, mother, Phyllis A. Conner, and brother, Bruce G. Conner. Scott was born on July 15, 1953 in Danbury, Connecticut to Robert and Phyllis Conner and graduated from Haverford High School in Pennsylvania with the class of 1971. Scott served in the U.S. Army from 1971 to 1974 and is a veteran of the Vietnam War. Scott is also a long-standing member of the American Legion Manoa Post 667 based in Havertown, Pennsylvania. Scott attended Arcadia College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and pursued a career in the nuclear power industry, a field in which he worked for many years. Scott was known for his love of Goose Pond in New Hampshire, especially Lakeview, and enjoyed fishing, boating, good food and lasting friendships throughout his life. Scott has resided in Aiken, South Carolina for the past several years and has continued to follow the nuclear profession. A funeral mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lebanon, New Hampshire on Friday, January 19th at 10am, with visiting hours the day prior at Ricker Funeral Home in Lebanon, New Hampshire on Thursday, January 18th from 2-4pm and 6-8pm.
