Shirley Ann Tindall Hucks

           Shirley Ann Tindall Hucks, 76, passed away Monday, April 22, 2024 after a lengthy illness. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, April 26, 2024 at Ebenezer Southern Methodist Church in the Temperance Hill Community of Marion County. Burial will follow in the Tranquil Church Cemetery.   The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 PM at the church.  The service will be streamed live on the Richardson Funeral Home (Marion, SC) Facebook page for those unable to attend.

              Mrs. Hucks was born in Marion, SC a daughter of the late Lena Johnson Tindall and Richard Oscar Tindall.  She is also preceded in death by her brothers, Jackie Tindall, Charlie Tindall and Leonard Tindall. Mrs. Hucks was retired as a Revenue Officer for the SC Department of Revenue, where she had over 40 years of service. She was a member of Pee Dee Southern Methodist Church.

              Surviving are her husband, Isaac Benjamin “Pete” Hucks, Jr of the home; son, Jason B. Hucks (Leigh) of Aiken, SC; daughter Angela H. Cooper (Trey) of Marion, SC; brothers Gene Tindall (Beverly) of Tahlequah, OK, and Raymond Tindall (fiancé Judy) of Myrtle Beach, SC; sister, Linda Erwin (Harold) of Marion, SC; and sisters-in-laws, Pat Tindall (Jackie) and Saundra Tindall (Leonard), Betty (Charlie) Tindall, all of Marion, SC; and grandchildren: Hunter Lee Morrison, Madison Elizabeth Hucks, and Whitney Ann Hucks.
