Shirley Strickland Morris-Meetze

AIKEN - Shirley Strickland Morris-Meetze passed away Friday, April 20, 2018. Shirley Strickland was born in Georgia on April 20, 1945 to her late parents Mr. and Mrs. Strickland. Shirley was later married to the love of her life, the late Jack Morris in December 1982 while she stayed at the Aiken Apartments at Tri-Development Center. She later moved out and moved in with her and her husband’s family and friends. Shirley helped take care of her husband and her mother in law until her loving husband passed away. Shirley later got remarried to her second husband, Joseph Meetze however, after a few years the couple decided to separate. After her separation in 2002, Shirley moved into a residence at We Care Residential Inc. here in Aiken County until May 2006 in which she relocated to Cardinal Court CTH II due to a decline in her health. Shirley remained at Cardinal Court CTH II until she was admitted into the Dupont II ICF/ID January 2009 where she remained until being admitted to Pruitt Health of Aiken in December 2017.
