Sonia Kowalczyk Bryan

SONIA KOWALCZYK BRYAN, 74, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2022 at her residence.

A native of Miami, FL, Sonia was a daughter of the late Ray and Mary Lou Kowalczky.  She worked as a private duty nurse and a dental assistant.  Sonia was devoted to her church and the Catholic faith.  She was a communicant of St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church.

Survivors include her son, Richard Bryan, New Ellenton, SC, daughter, Renee Sanabria (José), Miami, FL; eight grandchildren, Joshua, Matthew, Henry and Oscar Bryan, Adrian, Nicholas, Harley and Zachary Sanabria; a great-grandson, Luca Sanabria; a sister, Dallas Pearson.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Robert Bryan.

The family will receive friends Friday evening, January 13^th at Shellhouse-Rivers Funeral Home from 6 until 8 o’clock.  A prayer service will be held at 6:30 PM

The Requiem Mass will be celebrated Saturday morning, January 14^th at 11 o’clock at the old St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church.
