AIKEN, SC - Stephen (Bucky) Motta, age 84, passed away on December 7, 2017. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Carolyn; his sister Nancy Martin; his brother Richard (Janice); his daughter Sue King (Henry), four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ambrose and Zelda; his son Michael and his grandson Matt. Steve attended Jordan High School, Utah State, University of Utah, University of Wisconsin and other schools as he was a life-long student. He made a career as an educator at American schools overseas (DODDS) and traveled the world. He lived in Salt Lake City, UT; Grace, ID; Japan; Germany; Morocco; Ethiopia; Falls Church, VA; Orlando, FL; and Park City, UT. He was very competitive and enjoyed sports of all kinds. One of the last things he said to his family was, “When this is over, we’ll get to find out who won!” A celebration of his life will be held in Park City, Utah on March 10th.
