AIKEN, SC – SUZANNE MARIE LORINOVICH, 74, widow of David Lorinovich, passed away Friday, December 24, 2021 at Westminster Memory Care.
A native of Fitchburg, MA, Suzanne was a daughter of the late Rene and Lorraine Moquin Gagne. Suzanne was a cheerleader at Saint Bernard’s High School where she graduated. She attended the Chandler School for Girls in Boston where she earned her associates degree as a paralegal. While in Boston, Suzanne met the love of her life, David. Rumor has it, David was playing guitar at a party and could not take his eyes off of her. On February 1, 1969, Suzanne and David wed, and soon after, David was drafted into the Army.
They moved to Huntsville, Alabama, where Christopher was born. After years of service and reserve duty, David and Suzanne moved to Dayton, Ohio where Jeremy and Caitlin were born. Suzanne was a mother extraordinaire. She frequently volunteered and attended field trips with the kids. Corporate moves brought the family to Naperville, Illinois, Greenville, South Carolina, and Charlotte, North Carolina. While in Charlotte, Suzanne earned her Realtor’s License where she was a top producer with yearly home sales in the millions. After years of hard work, Suzanne and David retired in Bluffton, South Carolina.
Suzanne will be remembered for her tireless efforts as a wife, mother, and Meme. She was always making memories with her grandchildren with “Alligators Under the Bed,” Wii bowling, and buzzing bees. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile, warm heart, delicious popcorn, rutabaga at Thanksgiving, awesome spaghetti, impeccable style, ability to find the best deals, and a generous and giving spirit.
Fly high on Eagles Wings, Mom. You are missed.
