Sylvia Ann Koss

AIKEN, SC – SYLVIA ANN WILLIAMS KOSS, 40, beloved wife of Kevin D. Koss, entered into rest Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.

     A native of Sarasota, FL, Sylvia was a daughter of George A. and Susie Yoder Williams.  She graduated from Mifflin County Christian Academy in Lewistown, PA and formerly worked as a secretary at Central Christian Mennonite School in Dover, DE.  She lived in Aiken County since 2004 and was a baker with her mother as The Bake Ladies.  She was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church.

     Survivors, in addition to her husband Kevin and parents George and Susie, all of Aiken, include a brother, Calvin R. Williams (Carolyn), Wagener, SC; niece and nephews, Cameron, Trevor and Kaitlyn Williams, Dalton and Larry Ray Sheppard, David A. Koss, III; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Becky M. and Melton O. Woodward, Jr., Aiken; brother-in-law, David A. Koss, Jr., Aiken; sister-in-law, Alisa Sheppard, Beech Island.

     The family will receive friends Friday evening, April 5^th from 6 until 8 o’clock at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home.

     The funeral will be Saturday morning at 10 o’clock at New Holland Mennonite Church, 2539 Old Ninety Six Indian Trail, Batesburg-Leesville, SC 29006 with Rev. Mark Gibson, Pastor Ervin Wengerd, Pastor Dale Mast and Pastor Sam Mast officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

     In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Maranatha Baptist Church, P.O. Box 932, Aiken, SC 29802.
