Trudy Ann Banigan

AIKEN, SC - Ms. Trudy Ann Banigan, 63, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at home.

Trudy was born in East St. Louis, IL on November 15, 1956 to the late Ralph Dalmar and Betty Jane Lowe Wright. 

Trudy loved spending time with her family and friends. When she could not be with them in person, she loved talking to them on the phone while sitting at her kitchen table or outside.  Trudy enjoyed gardening and loved plants and flowers.  She was artsy and enjoyed crafting beautiful creations from ordinary items.

She is survived by her daughter, Kriston "Kaycie" Corgan (Eric) Clancey of Aiken; two sons, Colin Banigan of Alton, IL and Sean (Shireen) Banigan of Normal, IL; four grandchildren, Ethan, Emily, Caleb, and Joshua; sister, Linda Black of Salem, IL; two sisters-in-law, Kathy Wright of Woodlawn, IL, and Juanita Mohr-Wright of Freeburg, IL; six nieces and three nephews; numerous cousins and friends; and special caregiver, Jodi Clancey, of Aiken. 

In addition to her parents, Trudy was preceded in death by her three brothers, Ralph Wright, Jr, Jerry Wright and Benny Wright.

A memorial service will be 4 pm, Saturday, August 22, 2020 at Chime Bell Baptist Church with Pastor Gary Fleetwood officiating.
