AIKEN, SC – VIRESHWAR JOHN CONTRACTOR, 64, beloved husband of Debjani Mitra, died Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.
A native of Anand Gujarat, India, Vireshwar was a son of John and Shanta Contractor. He immigrated to America in 1983, first residing in South Florida. Later he worked in Chicago for 22 years and retired to Aiken SC in 2017.
Survivors, in addition to his wife Debjani, includes, two sons Aryan Contractor, Arjun Contractor, and a daughter Amerita Contractor, a sister and two brothers.
The funeral service will be Saturday afternoon, March 16th at 4 o’clock at Shell house – Rivers Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Bethany Cemetery.
