Virginia Bliss Wolfe

AIKEN, SC - Virginia "Ginny" Bliss Wolfe, 77 of Aiken, SC, passed away peacefully in her home on January 19, 2025. Born on August 16, 1947, she was the beloved daughter of the late Walter Scott Bliss and the late Jean Patterson Bliss.

Ginny wedded Clinton Wolfe in 1989 just prior to their move to Aiken, and continued her work with Westinghouse at Savannah River until she retired. She was a passionate equestrian.

Ginny is survived by her loving husband, Clinton Wolfe, her brother, Walter Scott Bliss, Jr, her niece, Hillary Swanson Bliss, her nephews Walter Scott Bliss III and Andrew Lowell Bliss, Kevin (Vicky) Wolfe, Kelly Duca, Todd (Kathy) Wolfe, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A celebration of life is planned on March 22, 2025 at Shellhouse Funeral Home at 924 Hayne Ave. SW, Aiken, SC from 10am -12pm where friends and family will have an opportunity to pay respects. 

In lieu of flowers, to honor Ginny's memory, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the SPCA in Aiken SC.
