William George Saddington, Jr.

AIKEN, SC – WILLIAM GEORGE SADDINGTON, JR., 70, beloved husband of Georgeanne Marinan Saddington, died Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at his residence. A native of Baltimore, MD, William was a son of the late William George Saddington, Sr. and Miriam Kuntz Saddington. He served in the U. S. Navy during Vietnam. He was a retired building contractor and retired to Aiken from the Baltimore area 4 years ago. Survivors, in addition to his wife, Georgeanne, include four children, Ashley May Saddington Olsen Potthast (Tom), Gainesville, VA, Whitney Barbusca (Troy), Lancaster, PA, Colby Bauersfield (Scott), Aiken, Brent Saddington (Melissa), Kings Park, NY; seven grandchildren, Claire, William, Joseph, Anna May, Miles, Drew, Jack; a sister, Elizabeth Kuntz Moore (Richard C.), Joppa, MD. A Celebration of William’s Life, with Military Honors, will be held Sunday morning, August 20th at 11 o’clock at the home of Rhett Riviere, 541 Two Notch Rd., Aiken, SC.
